Civil Rights Prezi Project:

Each student will choose a group: African Americans, Latinos, Asian-Americans, Native Americans, or Women.

Each team will create a Prezi, which highlights ways in which their group they are studying used boycotts, court cases, marches, strikes, sit-ins, and media coverage to achieve their rights.

The Prezi should also list what issues are most important to these groups, a key Supreme Court case related to the group, and where and how the group is currently practicing activism.

Each team member will present their information to the class.

This project requires a project manager and teams should plan to meet outside of class time at least once.

The due date is Monday, November 3, 2014.

What does this project look like?
The team will meet at least 3 times to create the Prezi.
The project manager will document the dates and times of the meetings as well as what everyone accomplished during the meetings.

Each team member will need to create note cards for their part of the presentation. (Citations are required on the note cards.)
Each team will speak in front of the class on the Prezi slide/s chosen.
Each team member should be able to answer questions from the audience.
The total presentation time should be 5 to 7 minutes.
